Cowboy’s Little Farm

OUR STORY · COWBOY’S LITTLE FARM

A little farm built on second chances.

Howdy, I’m Kim. Cowboy’s Little Farm grew from a lifelong love of animals and a dream to give them a safe place to land.

WHERE IT BEGAN

From caring for wildlife to loving the flock.

My passion for conservation sparked at a young age...the ripe age of 11 to be exact. It later led me to pursue an education in Environmental Studies before becoming an Earth Science teacher. During that time, I also volunteered with a local wildlife rehabilitation organization, caring for injured pigeons and orphaned ducklings. What started as volunteer work developed into a genuine appreciation for birds and, eventually, a vision of creating an animal sanctuary of my own.

In 2021, Cowboy came into my life. He became my soul dog, the inspiration behind our farm’s name, and the beginning of something much bigger. Since then, we've opened our home to rescued, rehomed, and adopted animals, including chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, and dogs.

Today, Cowboy’s Little Farm is a reflection of my passion for animal welfare, conservation, and sustainable living. Through our experiences, I share practical insights into animal care, the realities of running a small hobby farm, and the ways we can live more thoughtfully alongside the animals and environment around us.

ALWAYS AN ANIMAL PERSON

The little moments add up.

From wildlife and farm animals to the pets who become family, they’ve all helped shape this place.
